The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has raised the alarm over the growing rate of fatal crashes and traffic violations involving courier and dispatch riders across Lagos roads. Blaming courier and dispatch riders for rising fatal road crashes in the state, LASTMA revealed that more than 16,641 vehicles were impounded for various traffic offences while over 862 crash victims were rescued through emergency interventions in 2025 alone.
