is director of the Goethe Institute, Brussels and the institute's delegate for European Affairs. Previous postings have taken her to Syria, Tanzania, Ethiopia and the United Kingdom. She has a special interest in international cultural relations, starting with her PhD on European cultural foreign policy, through practical experience as a project manager in various multilateral projects, to the evaluation of the first pilot phase of European Spaces of Culture, managed by EUNIC.
