RIYADH: The Royal Commission for Riyadh City has launched full operations at the Western Station of the metro, marking the completion of its four principal stations and adding a major new landmark to the capital’s public transport network. The facility, which opens on Friday, is the largest of the Riyadh Metro’s four iconic stations — alongside King Abdullah Financial District Station, STC Al-Olaya Station, and Qasr Al-Hokm Station — and spans an area of 112,000 sq. meters, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
