Rubio’s Air Force One tracksuit sparks deposed Venezuelan leader Maduro comparisons
Marco Rubio appeared to mock deposed Venezuelan leader Nicholas Maduro in a photo taken aboard Air Force One. “Secretary Rubio rocking the Nike Tech ‘Venezuela’ on Air Force One!” posted White House Communications Director Steven Cheung on X. The White House later included the image in a video montage showing the Secretary of State posing for a picture wearing the outfit, set to the Notorious B.I.G. track “Hypnotize.” The clip also included the image of Maduro photographed blindfolded, handcuffed, and wearing a grey tracksuit inside a US military plane en route to the Big Apple.
