Security footage appears to show a guard with a dog walking behind a suspect before he shot a Secret Service officer while trying to storm the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, which Donald Trump was in attendance at. Washington’s top federal prosecutor, Jeanine Pirro, shared the video on Thursday (30 April), saying it shows suspect Cole Allen Tomas shooting an agent as he rushed through security toward the event. Allen, 31, was charged Monday with the attempted assassination of the president as federal authorities suggested an attack that disrupted one of Washington’s glitziest events had been planned for at least several weeks.
