Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth told a Senate committee it could take "months and years" to replace U.S. munitions used during the war in Iran.

“The biggest challenge, the biggest adversary we face at this point are the reckless, feckless and defeatist words of congressional Democrats and some Republicans,” Hegseth said.

Democratic lawmakers grilled Hegseth about the Iran war in a hearing about the Pentagon's budget.
