Sen. Thom Tillis said Sunday he is willing to end his blockade of Federal Reserve chair nominee Kevin Warsh after the U.S. Department of Justice dropped its investigation of Fed Chair Jerome Powell.

The move clears the way for Kevin Warsh, Trump’s pick to replace Powell, to advance toward a Senate approval.

President Donald Trump's nomination of Kevin Warsh to replace Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell had been effectively blocked because of the investigation.
