A Labour MP has refused to be drawn on whether he has confidence in the prime minister as he said there is “definitely a question about the future of the Labour party”. Dan Carden, who represents Liverpool Walton, told the BBC’s Newsnight he believed he would lead Labour into the local elections - but said “right now, it feels like we are going from crisis to crisis”.
