A stampede at a historic site in Haiti that is a popular tourist site saw a stampede that killed at least 30 people and injured dozens of others.

An investigation is under way into what led to the deaths of 25 people at Laferrière Citadel on Saturday.

At least nine people have been arrested following the stampede, including police officers and ministry employees.
