Moment Roblox predator arrested after grooming 14-year-old girl

Bodycam footage shows the moment a man who preyed on a 14-year-old that he met whilst playing Roblox was arrested. Carlo Tritta, 19, first made contact with the girl on the online game in 2024 before he initiated “highly sexualised” conversations with her on Discord, WhatsApp, and Snapchat. Video released by Hampshire Police shows the moment Tritta was arrested after the victim’s mother discovered the messages and images and reported them to the police in August 2025. Tritta, from Eastleigh, Hampshire, pleaded guilty to making indecent images, including 25 in the most serious classification of Category A, sexual communication with a child, and causing a child to watch a sexual act, all committed between January and August 2025. He was jailed earlier for 28 months on Thursday (9 April). Roblox said it was saddened by the case, stressing it has strict safety measures, age checks and AI systems to prevent child exploitation, and works with law enforcement while continuing to strengthen protections.
