Abu Dhabi reports damage at Borouge chemical plant from falling debris

Authorities ​in Abu Dhabi reported damage at petrochemicals company Borouge’s ‌plant after ‌falling debris ​from ‌an ⁠air ​defense interception ⁠ignited three fires. No injuries were reported, ⁠the emirate’s ‌media ‌office ​said. They ‌did not ‌say what had triggered the air ‌defenses. Earlier, authorities said operations at ⁠the ⁠plant, which is west of the UAE capital, were suspended because of the fires.
