The suspects, a 20-year-old man, a 19-year-old man, and a 17-year-old boy, were arrested early on Wednesday morning in East London on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life. This brings the total number of arrests to five, following the earlier detention and subsequent bail of two men aged 45 and 47 last week. Counter Terrorism Policing London is leading the investigation, which is currently being treated as an antisemitic hate crime. The Metropolitan Police has implemented an enhanced policing plan across London, including visible armed patrols, to reassure the Jewish community during the Passover festival.
