The man accused of attacking a Michigan synagogue earlier this month "was motivated and inspired by Hezbollah's militant ideology," federal authorities said.

The 41-year-old attacker made a video talking about his plans before ramming his pickup truck into a Detroit-area synagogue.

Prior to the attack, the suspect searched online for pro-Hezbollah news channels and for large gatherings of Israelis in Michigan, the FBI said on Monday.
