Saudi Arabia leads condolences after fatal helicopter crash in Qatari territorial waters

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Jordan on Sunday expressed their condolences and solidarity with Qatar and Turkiye following a helicopter crash in Qatari territorial waters that killed military personnel during a routine mission. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its sincere condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims, and to the governments and peoples of Qatar and Turkiye, after the helicopter went down following a technical malfunction. The crash claimed the lives of seven crew members from the Qatar Armed Forces and joint Qatari-Turkish forces.
