President Donald Trump said his administration has considered suspending the federal gas tax as oil prices climb higher amid the war in Iran.

Across the country, gas costs $1 more per gallon than it did less than a month ago.

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said the waivers will help prevent a fuel supply disruption in the U.S. during the Iran war.
