UAE state security dismantles terrorist network linked to Hezbollah and Iran

DUBAI: The UAE State Security Apparatus dismantled a terrorist network funded and operated by Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Iran. Members of the network have been arrested, the state news agency WAM reported on Friday. The network had been operating in the UAE under a fictitious commercial cover and sought to infiltrate the national economy and carry out external schemes threatening the country’s financial stability. The SSA said the network was laundering money to finance terrorism and threaten national security.
