Arsenal hero Dowman no ‘normal’ 16-year-old, says Arteta
LONDON: Mikel Arteta described Max Dowman becoming the Premier League’s youngest ever goalscorer as a “magical moment” after Arsenal struck late to beat Everton 2-0 on Saturday. The Gunners closed in on a first Premier League title for 22 years after Dowman also provided the cross for Viktor Gyokeres to finally break the deadlock on 89 minutes. Dowman then ran from deep inside his own half to slot into an empty net after Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford ventured forward for a corner in stoppage time.
