Iraq’s Kirkuk crude oil flows restart after four-day stoppage, sources say

LONDON: Iraq’s Kirkuk crude oil flows to Turkiye’s Ceyhan port restarted on Friday, having stopped on March 9, shipping and trading sources told Reuters. Iraq reduced oil output after the start of the Iran war, as the country is ⁠unable to export ⁠via the Gulf. Its crude oil production dropped to 1.4 million barrels per day (bpd), Oil Minister Hayan Abdel-Ghani said on Thursday, less ⁠than a third of the level before the conflict. Iraq’s Oil Ministry asked the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) if it would pump at least 100,000 bpd from its state-managed Kirkuk oilfields to Ceyhan.
