WASHINGTON: An investigation led by a US general will take “as long as necessary” to determine the facts of a strike on an elementary school in Iran, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Friday. Democrats have written to ask the defence secretary whether the US was responsible, but he says the issue is being investigated.
