The arrests, made on Wednesday, relate to allegations of assisting China’s foreign intelligence service. The men, aged 39, 68, and 43, were detained in London, Powys and Pontyclun, respectively. They remain in police custody after being arrested under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act. Searches were conducted at the arrest locations and three additional addresses in London, East Kilbride, and Cardiff.
