The Duchess of Sussex hugged the mother of a cancer patient whilst visiting a hospital during a two-day humanitarian trip to Jordan. Visiting Hussein Cancer Centre in Amman on Thursday (26 February), Meghan comforted a mother who broke down whilst describing her son’s battle with leukaemia. Footage shows Meghan and the woman embraced in a long hug as the duchess gently patted her back. The visit to the King Hussein Cancer Centre was the final event in a busy two-day trip to Jordan for the Sussexes, who travelled to the country to highlight efforts to support vulnerable communities affected by conflict and displacement. Harry and Meghan travelled to Amman at the invitation of Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of the World Health Organisation (WHO).
