Fresh Geneva negotiations suggest Trump’s team believes the Iranian government is making serious proposals

Iran wants to make a "deal" more than the U.S., President Donald Trump said Tuesday, ahead of a third round of bilateral talks in Switzerland later this week.

The upcoming talks come as the U.S. continues to build up military forces in the region and as Trump warns of "bad things" if Iran doesn't agree to a deal.

If the negotiations fail, Trump repeatedly has threatened to attack Iran.

U.S. President Donald Trump wants a deal to constrain Iran's nuclear program, and sees an opportunity while the country is struggling at home.

Trump expresses dissatisfaction with Iran nuclear talks but remains hopeful for future negotiations amid rising tensions and military threats.
