LONDON: In an exclusive interview last Monday (Feb.9) with Arab News, Sudan’s Defense Minister Hassan Kabroun accused “a state of evil” of fueling the disastrous rebellion that over the past three years has left tens of thousands of Sudanese dead, displaced more than 14 million and reduced cities to ruins. Kabroun did not name the “state of evil” he said was responsible for “providing logistical support, weapons, intelligence, and even fighters” to the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF), commanded by General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, known as Hemedti.
