The United States added 130,000 jobs to start the year while the end of 2025 job gains were revised downward, Wednesday's jobs report said.

Job growth was stronger than expected to start 2026, providing some relief to concerns about the state of the U.S. labor market.

The report follows several others that have reignited concerns about weakening job growth.
