US should not make deals on Ukraine without Ukraine: Zelensky

KYIV: Ukraine will not accept the United States making deals with Russia about Ukrainian sovereignty unless Kyiv is also involved, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said. “Ukraine will not support even such possible agreements between the parties about us without us,” Zelensky said in remarks embargoed until early Saturday. Zelensky said the United States wants Ukraine and Russia to end their war by June, and has offered to host talks between the two sides next week.
