RIYADH: Saudi Arabia on Friday strongly condemned a terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in Islamabad, leaving several people dead and injured, the Saudi Press Agency reported. A suicide bomber targeted a Shiite mosque on the outskirts of the Pakistan capital during Friday prayers, killing 31 people and wounding at least 169 others, officials said. In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the attack and reiterated the Kingdom’s firm stance against targeting places of worship, terrorising civilians and shedding innocent blood.
