BRUSSELS: The European Union agreed Thursday to designate Iran’s Revolutionary Guard a “terrorist organization” over a deadly crackdown on mass protests. “This was long overdue,” EU chief Ursula von der Leyen posted online after foreign ministers from the bloc took the decision.
