The American president spoke on Monday with the governor of Minnesota and the mayor of the city where two protesters were killed by ICE officers. The two Democratic officials announced that they had secured a partial withdrawal of federal agents on Tuesday.

"Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota," Walz said.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz said he had been in contact with the White House after federal agents shot a person in Minneapolis.
