RABAT: Morocco drew nearly 20 million tourist arrivals in 2025, making it a record year for the North African country, the Ministry of Tourism said on Monday. The kingdom welcomed 19.8 million tourists, a 14 percent increase compared to the number of visitors recorded the year before, it said. The ministry hailed the number as a “historic achievement.” Tourism revenues exceeded $13 billion, a 19 percent increase on 2024. Authorities attributed the growth to its focus on strengthening air connections to other countries, improving services and diversifying its tourism offerings.
