The bodies of 16 more victims of a bar fire in the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana have been identified by police.

About 100 people were injured in the bar early on Thursday morning, but police have ruled out an act of terrorism

Several dozen people are presumed to have died in the fire at a New Year party in the resort of Crans-Montana.

Karine Spreng, a Crans-Montana resident, said she may know someone who was present when a fire ripped through Le Constellation bar in the Swiss ski resort on Thursday.

Axel Clavier, a 16-year-old from Paris who survived the blaze, described “total chaos” inside the bar.
