Eastern European Union countries urge Brussels to bolster their defense

Eight heads of state and government from the eastern flank of the EU gathered in Helsinki on Tuesday, December 16. They called on Brussels to take 'concrete measures' to strengthen their capacity for surveillance and deterrence against Russia and Belarus.
