Trump said Chinese President Xi Jinping "responded positively" to the proposal to let Nvidia sell H200 AI chips on condition that the U.S. gets 25% of revenue.

Nvidia and chip rival Advanced Micro Devices agreed over the summer to share 15% of the revenue from China chip sales with the U.S. government.

Trump said on social media that he had informed China's leader Xi Jinping about his decision and “President Xi responded positively!”
