Ukraine’s allies in Europe are trying to find support for harnessing frozen Russian assets again

The European Commission proposed using $163.2 billion of Russia's frozen assets as a loan to help Ukraine defend itself against its neighbor.

But Belgium, a vocal critic of the plan to use Russian assets to back Ukraine, says its concerns have not been resolved.

It follows fresh proposals by the European Commission to unlock $105 billion to support Ukraine.
