Rail worker hailed a hero after Huntingdon train attack discharged from hospital
LONDON: Samir Zitouni, the train crew member who was seriously injured while protecting passengers during a mass stabbing on a Huntingdon-bound train, has been discharged from hospital, it was reported on Saturday. Zitouni was working on board a London North Eastern Railway (LNER) service from Doncaster to London when the attack took place in Cambridgeshire on November 1. LNER said he had been instrumental in helping save multiple lives during the incident.
