WASHINGTON: The US military on Wednesday launched its ninth strike against an alleged drug-carrying vessel, killing three people in the eastern Pacific Ocean, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said, expanding the Trump administration’s campaign against drug trafficking in South America. Today, at the direction of President Trump, the Department of War carried out yet another lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization (DTO). Yet again, the now-deceased terrorists were engaged in narco-trafficking in the Eastern Pacific.

The strike was the first to take place in the Pacific, signalling an expansion of Trump's military campaign.

The U.S. military struck another alleged drug vessel on Tuesday night, marking the eighth time the United States destroyed an alleged drug boat since Sept. 2.
