A Georgia man was arrested Monday inside a terminal at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after allegedly threatening on social media to "shoot it up."

A Georgia man was arrested Monday inside a terminal at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after allegedly threatening on social media to "shoot it up."

Authorities in Atlanta said Billy Jo Cagle, 49, was surveilling a TSA checkpoint in the domestic south terminal before he was taken into custody.

Federal prosecutors charged Billy Joe Cagle, the man accused of plotting a mass shooting at the Atlanta airport, on Tuesday.
