Comet Lemmon is now visible with comet SWAN after sunset while also remaining visible before dawn for Northern Hemisphere skywatchers.

Comets Lemmon (C/2025 A6) and SWAN (C/2025 R2) are becoming visible just as the annual Orionid meteor shower peaks and Northern Lights are predicted. Here's where to go.

Comet Lemmon is now visible with comet SWAN after sunset while also remaining visible before dawn for Northern Hemisphere skywatchers.

The Orionid meteor shower peaks Oct. 21-22 with up to 20 meteors per hour. Comet Lemmon and Comet SWAN R2 may also glow green after sunset, making this a rare skywatch.
