LONDON: The Egyptian Red Crescent sent more than 400 shipments containing about 9,700 tonnes of humanitarian and petroleum aid to Gaza on Wednesday. The convoy carried about 5,700 tonnes of food and flour, 1,400 tonnes of medical supplies, and 2,500 tonnes of petroleum products to support Palestinians in the enclave. The initiative, “Zad El-Ezza: From Egypt to Gaza,” is now in its 50th day and is part of Cairo’s efforts to provide relief to Palestinians.
