ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s growing presence at Dubai’s GITEX Global Expo has helped push the country’s IT exports to the United Arab Emirates to $380 million, up from $280 million last year, Pakistan’s ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Tirmizi, said on Monday. At GITEX Global 2025, Pakistan has set up a National Pavilion showcasing 10 startups and more than 26 tech firms, highlighting the country’s expanding digital potential. The pavilion was launched by IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja to promote business networking, global partnerships, and foreign investment in Pakistan’s tech sector.
