Unveiled Sunday night, the new government led by reappointed Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu faces two-confidence votes this week and must push through a budget before year's end.

Sébastien Lecornu resigned on Monday after 26 days in the job and he said two days later his "mission is over".

French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday named Sebastien Lecornu as prime minister, reappointing him after he quit the job earlier this week.
