CAIRO: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Saturday discussed preparations for the upcoming Sharm El-Sheikh summit on Gaza’s reconstruction, which will be co-chaired by the Egyptian and US presidents. Egypt’s Foreign Ministry said the talks covered regional developments, progress in the Palestinian issue, and ongoing efforts to end the war in Gaza.
