President Donald Trump said Friday that he’s placing an additional 100% tax on Chinese imports starting on Nov. 1 or sooner, potentially escalating tariff rates close to levels that in April fanned fears of a steep recession and financial market chaos.

Donald Trump anunció que impondrá a partir del 1 de noviembre aranceles del 100 % a China por querer imponer controles a la exportación de tierras raras.

Stock markets dropped on Trump's bellicose Truth Social post that said China is "becoming very hostile" in seeking tough export controls on rare earths.
