LONDON: Jordan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi has met his French counterpart in Paris, Jean-Noel Barrot, to discuss the situation in Gaza following the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas. The two ministers expressed their approval of the agreement and the necessity of implementing its terms, the Jordan News Agency reported. Israel and Hamas agreed early on Wednesday on the first phase of a Gaza plan put forward by US President Donald Trump, in which the two sides will exchange captives by next week.
