CAIRO: Palestinian Islamic Jihad, an ally of Hamas, endorsed the group’s response to US President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza, saying it represents the stance of the Palestinian resistance. Islamic Jihad’s approval of the plan would facilitate Hamas’s release of hostages both groups hold in Gaza.
