The marsupial was first reported on Sunday morning, meandering through the western Spandau area of the German capital. Berlin police initially dispatched officers but have since ceased active pursuit, as the animal is not believed to pose an immediate threat. The public is advised to keep their distance but maintain visual contact if the wallaby is spotted, and to notify police or the Berlin Animal Catcher.
