The 37-year-old completed the historic feat last week, following years of preparation and two previous unsuccessful attempts. Bargiel spent nearly 16 hours in the 'death zone' (above 8,000 metres) during his final push to the summit, which he reached after a four-day climb. His descent was completed over two days, with his brother reportedly using a drone to help navigate treacherous sections like the Khumbu Icefall. This achievement adds to Bargiel's extreme skiing records, including being the first to ski from the summit of K2 in 2018.
