While “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” returned to ABC on Tuesday, the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission has promised to continue his campaign against what he sees as liberal bias in broadcasts.

Brendan Carr, the chair of the Federal Communications Commission, on Monday contested he played a role in the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel's ABC show.

Regulator Brendan Carr said he wasn't making threats when he told TV networks they had the choice to deal with Kimmel the "easy way or the hard way."
