Netanyahu jeopardizing peace with Jordan, Egypt

Jordan and Egypt, the only Arab countries that have peace treaties with Israel, are taking tougher stands against Tel Aviv in light of the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the possible annexation of parts of the West Bank in the coming weeks. Relations between Israel, under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and both Jordan and Egypt have reached record lows, especially following Israel’s massive military operation against Gaza in the aftermath of the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attacks on southern Israel.
