The man who crossed the English Channel in August is the second this week to be flown from Britain to France under the 'one-in, one-out' deal.

The agreement was signed in July to combat illegal Channel crossings. Authorities have identified individuals to be returned, and the first flight to France has been scheduled.

French charity Auberge des Migrants, which has mounted a campaign against the 'one-in, one-out' policy, said two deportations had now been cancelled.
