Footage released on Monday, 15 September, showed officers kicking down the door to enter the smoke-filled property. Oakley, a rescue dog, was found in a room with a pet gate and initially tried to evade capture before being calmed and leashed. Both the dog and the officer involved in the rescue escaped the blaze unharmed, with no other injuries reported.
